KIGALI, Rwanda in a rapidly evolving economy where employability increasingly depends on adaptability, communication, and digital competence, many young people in Rwanda continue to face significant barriers to meaningful employment. For marginalized groups including refugees, persons with disabilities, and youth living with HIV these challenges are often intensified by stigma, exclusion, and limited access to professional opportunities.

Recognizing this urgent need, Thriving Inclusive Community Organization (TICO) successfully implemented the second cohort of its Soft Skills Training Program, a transformative initiative designed to equip vulnerable youth with practical workplace skills, confidence, and networks necessary to thrive in Rwanda’s competitive labor market.

The training brought together young people from diverse backgrounds to learn, connect, and build pathways toward economic empowerment.

The JADF official from Gasabo District joined the training, sharing valuable insights and encouraging participants through her experience.
