Building Universal Health Coverage

Youth participating in skills development training

Rwanda's inclusive health programs focus on universal health coverage through the Fifth Health Sector Strategic Plan (HSSP V), which aims to improve quality, accessibility, and equity for all, including people with disabilities, refugees, and other vulnerable groups.

Key initiatives include physically renovating health centers to be more accessible, integrating services to address social determinants of health, establishing specialized health centers for vulnerable populations and improving health security through a smart, integrated system.
